Position Details
Job Title: Care Assistant / Support Worker

Main Responsibilities
Providing person-centred care and support
Assisting service users with daily living activities
Supporting personal care where required
Supporting meals, medication and household tasks in accordance with care plans
Promoting independence, dignity and choice
Supporting individuals with appointments and community activities
Completing care records and daily documentation
Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
Working effectively as part of a care team
Reporting changes or concerns regarding service users
Requirements
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
Previous UK care or support work experience
A genuine interest in working in adult social care
Good communication skills
Good spoken and written English
A professional, reliable and caring approach
The ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends where required
A satisfactory DBS/background check
The required right to work in the UK
Driving licence: Yes
Care qualifications such as the Care Certificate, NVQ/QCF or equivalent are advantageous but [not essential / required], depending on experience.
