We provide person-centred support to adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs, promoting independence, wellbeing and community involvement.
The role may include:
Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities within supported living settings
Supporting individuals to manage their own tenancy and finances
Providing emotional and practical support
Supporting individuals experiencing periods of mental health crisis or increased distress
Supporting individuals who may present with behaviours that challenge
Following individual PBS strategies and risk management plans
Supporting community access, appointments, education and activities
Promoting independence, confidence and life skills
Building positive and professional relationships
Maintaining accurate records and communicating concerns appropriately
Previous experience supporting adults with mental health needs
Experience supporting behaviours that challenge
Experience supporting individuals during periods of crisis or distress
Calm, compassionate and person-centred approach
Reliable, professional and respectful
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible to work bank/zero-hours shifts
Previous experience working in supported living is essential
