Private Housekeeper – London
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and organised Private Housekeeper to provide regular housekeeping support in a private family home in London.
The successful applicant will help maintain the home to a high standard and should take pride in their work, pay attention to detail and be comfortable working independently.
This is a part-time permanent position, approximately 15–20 hours per week, Monday to Friday during daytime hours. There is some flexibility around start and finish times by mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and other household areas
Laundry and ironing
Keeping cupboards and household areas tidy and organised
Maintaining a clean, neat and presentable home
Noticing routine household tasks that require attention
Helping with general household organisation where appropriate
Handling household belongings with care and respect
Working efficiently according to an agreed schedule
Maintaining a professional, polite and respectful approach within the family home

Comfortable carrying out a range of domestic housekeeping duties
Respectful of household privacy and personal belongings
Previous experience in private housekeeping, domestic cleaning, hospitality or a similar role would be helpful, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered.

Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour
Position: Part-time, Permanent
