The Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Cryptocurrency Trader to join the Cralium Trading team. The successful candidate will monitor cryptocurrency markets, analyse market movements and trends, identify potential trading opportunities and contribute to the development and execution of trading strategies.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with a genuine interest in financial markets, cryptocurrency and trading. You will be expected to stay up to date with market developments and make informed decisions based on research, data and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor cryptocurrency and digital asset markets on a daily basis
* Analyse price movements, market trends, trading volume and market data
* Research individual cryptocurrencies and wider market conditions
* Identify potential trading opportunities using technical and fundamental analysis
* Assist in developing, testing and improving trading strategies
* Execute trades in line with agreed strategies and risk parameters
* Maintain accurate records of trading activity and performance
* Review previous trades and market conditions to identify areas for improvement
* Stay informed about news and developments affecting cryptocurrency markets
* Monitor market volatility, liquidity and changing market conditions
* Share market observations and trading ideas with the wider team
* Contribute to ongoing research into new digital assets and trading opportunities
* Maintain a disciplined approach to risk management and capital preservation
Requirements
* Genuine interest in cryptocurrency and financial markets
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-moving environment
* Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of digital asset markets
* Previous trading or financial markets experience is desirable but not essential
