We are seeking a qualified and experienced Level 4 Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the quality assurance of teaching and education sector qualifications. This role will focus on ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance across programmes such as:
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)
Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET)
Other teaching‑related RQF qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Sample assessor decisions in line with awarding‑body requirements
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance standards
Maintain accurate IQA documentation, sampling plans, and reports
Support assessors and tutors to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery
Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement
Uphold robust internal quality assurance processes
Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment practice
Job requirements
Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) – full award required
Occupational competence within the education/training sector
Experience IQA‑ing Level 3 AET and Level 5 DET qualifications
Strong understanding of RQF assessment and awarding‑body compliance
Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
