About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Research Engineer – Wireless Technologies to join our international R&D team. The successful candidate will conduct applied research, develop, and test advanced wireless technologies, radio frequency (RF) systems, and digital signal processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct applied research in RF engineering and wireless technologies.
• Design, model, and test experimental hardware and software solutions.
• Analyse radio frequency environments and signal propagation characteristics.
• Research and optimise digital signal processing algorithms.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analyse test results.
• Prepare technical documentation and research reports.
• Operate laboratory measurement equipment, including Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Vector Network Analysers.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, and systems integration teams.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Radio Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in R&D, RF Engineering, Wireless Communications, or Signal Processing.
• Strong understanding of RF systems, digital signal processing, and modern wireless communication technologies.
• Hands-on experience using laboratory measurement equipment.
• Experience in modelling and analysing complex technical systems.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ is advantageous.
• Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Participation in scientific research or engineering R&D projects.
