About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services in clients' homes, ensuring each property is maintained to an exceptional standard. You will represent our company professionally and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general domestic cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
Clean kitchens, including worktops, sinks, appliances, cupboards, and floors.
Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, baths, sinks, mirrors, and tiles.
Empty bins and dispose of household waste appropriately.
Change bed linen and make beds where requested.
Clean internal windows and other glass surfaces as required.
Ironing and light laundry duties, where requested by the client.
Replenish cleaning supplies when necessary.
Follow company cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or concerns to the office promptly.
Respect clients' privacy and maintain strict confidentiality while working in their homes.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Have a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Be able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Be physically fit and capable of carrying out cleaning duties.
Have previous domestic cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
Hold the right to work in the UK.
Be willing to undergo a DBS check (or already hold one).
Have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
Key Duties
Clean bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas.
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors.
Dust and polish furniture and surfaces.
Clean stairs, skirting boards, mirrors, and internal windows.
Empty bins and dispose of household waste.
Change bed linen and carry out light laundry or ironing when required.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Provide a professional, reliable, and friendly service while respecting clients' homes and privacy.
