Role Purpose
To drive revenue growth across all North Wales Tourism (NWT) / Go North Wales income streams and secure funding for the organisation as required.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and implement a sales revenue plan to increase income across all NWT activities.
• Secure new members and generate income in line with agreed targets to support membership growth.
• Maintain and improve membership retention through targeted engagement strategies.
• Increase advertising revenue for North Wales Tourism.
• Encourage member participation in current and future campaigns, as well as wider organisational activities.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the website to help optimise its marketing potential.
• Promote the benefits of North Wales Tourism membership in a positive and professional manner.
• Actively support and promote the Go North Wales / North Wales Tourism brand.
• Monitor, track, and report progress against agreed targets.
• To help and support identify grant and funding opportunities relevant to North Wales Tourism’s activity (these could possibly include Government, Start-Ups, Innovation, Digital, Small Business Not profit)
• Undertake additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility to meet the needs of the organisation.
• Degree-level qualification or significant experience in a sales and administrative role, with an understanding of tourism-related issues.
• Demonstrable track record of success in sales.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed targets, recognising their importance to the role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work internally and externally to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a focused team environment.
• Welsh language skills are desirable.
