Care Home Deputy Manager (Experienced)
Location: Partington, Greater Manchester

Salary: £25.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Days only

About the Role
Four Oaks Care Home is seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our leadership team. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, leading our care team, and ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care. This is a fantastic daytime opportunity for an established leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home in the Manager's absence, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise the care team, managing rotas, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement.

Care Planning: Oversee the assessment, implementation, and review of comprehensive resident care plans.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular operational/clinical audits, manage medication administration systems, and ensure strict adherence to safeguarding policies.

Relationship Building: Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, staff, and external healthcare professionals.

Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for a highly capable leader who can hit the ground running. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within a residential or nursing care home environment (e.g., as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Unit Manager).

Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or an active NMC Pin (RGN/RMN) if required for clinical oversight.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding protocols, and care standards.

Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a strong track record of managing staff and conducting care audits.

Vetting: Must hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
