Job Overview:
We are looking for a caring and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support individuals in care homes and home care environments. This is a paid, full-time role ideal for candidates who are passionate about delivering quality care and improving the well-being of others. Training will be provided for suitable applicants.
A valid UK driving license is required to support travel between care locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support residents with mobility and safe transfers
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication in line with care plans (training provided)
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Observe and report changes in health or behaviour
- Support activities promoting social engagement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Care experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping
- Valid UK driving license preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work as part of a team
- Right to work full time in the UK (Dependent or Graduate Visa)
