Job description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and a keen eye for design. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including weddings, funerals, and corporate events. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and use your expertise to create stunning arrangements that exceed their expectations.
Design and create floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including weddings, funerals, and corporate events
Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on flower selection and arrangement design
Order and maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and other materials needed for arrangements
Prepare flowers for use in arrangements, including trimming stems, removing thorns, and conditioning blooms
Set up and decorate event spaces with floral arrangements and other decorative elements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met and all arrangements are of the highest quality
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients are satisfied with their arrangements and that all concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner

Job requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in floral design or related field preferred
Proven experience as a Florist, with a strong portfolio of previous work
Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and other materials used in floral arrangements
Strong design skills, with the ability to create unique and visually appealing arrangements
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
