Main undertakings in this role
Account management – logging and managing client accounts on the various platforms
Investment administration - apportioning funds as they arrive in accordance with advisors instructions/clients risk etc., sending out quarterly reports and making changes to the clients account where necessary
Day to day client liaison - dealing with ‘can you?’ and ‘can I’ questions both ways
Apportioning the workload from that to the most appropriate person - to self, to admin, to advisory, to tech paraplanning etc.
Accountability for the production of the Annual Reviews for clients including updating the plan Diary management of both Advisor and associated clients, in particular with managing the annual review workload.
Dealing with items relating to completing or topping up the plan such as maximising pension contributions, ISA allowances etc.
Client Meeting Packs – prepare Factfinds, Risk Questionnaires, valuations and other relevant materials for client meetings.
Managing the submission of new business applications to the Central team.
Task management in conjunction with the Central Administration Team.
Preparation of quotes and illustrations
Management of unallocated fee queries
Individual Adviser KPI management
Assist the paraplanner with research as and when needed.
Attend some in-house meetings
Skills/Attributes needed for the role
Punctual and well-presented, with a good telephone manner
Working towards, or ideally, qualified to Diploma level already.
3 years’ experience in Financial Services Administration/Sales Support
Experience of Word, Excel, Outlook
Experience of Intelligent Office (necessary)
Experience of using the Analytics portfolio builder (desirable but not essential)
Experience of using cash flow systems (desirable but not essential)
Experience of FE analytics highly desirable
Experience of Transact, 7IM, Praemium platforms all highly desirable
